Find a Font

Welcome to the Find a Font website where we try to help you find the font that you're looking for.

There's plenty of help out there, you've just gotta know where to look.

Here's what to do to identify a font:-

1) If you've got an electronic image containing the font then your first site to visit has got to be What The Font. This clever site allows you to specify an image on the web or upload one from your hard drive. It will then attempt to match the font to one held in their database.

2) If that fails then Identifont is the next place to look. Here you'll have to answer a series of questions. After all the questions have been answered, you'll be presented with a list of fonts, hopefully yours will be amongst them.

3) If your font can be placed into a category such as "Western" or "Calligraphic" then one of the categorised listing sites such as Font Search Engine or Fontscape may be worth a try.

4) Finally, if all else fails, you could appeal for help at one of the many font forums. The forum at My Fonts is popular and usually yields a result.

Good luck!
